In
1934 the front on the shirts was opened all the way down instead of the
pull-over type opening of WWI. This is the correct shirt for Army
enlisted personnel throughout WWII. Ours is made of 80% Australian wool
and 20% acrylic (hence the great price). It features correct patch
pockets with proper clipped corners on the flaps, gussets on the sides
and cuffs, proper brown buttons and excellent flat felled seams on the
sleeves and body.
The manufacturer made one batch using chest
measurements rather than neck and sleeve measurements like you'd
normally order a shirt. Please order using your chest size for a good
fit. The batch we just got in was made using small, medium, large,
etc.
