Description   Are these a WW2 item????  Well not really.  They did indeed have leather palmed trigger finger mittens in WW2, but there were some differences.  The WW2 Mittens, Shell, Trigger Finger, Type 1 had two wrist straps.  These are the modern ones with the closure strap closer to the wrist, the bellow on the upper part and the elastic band on top.  They come with the woo liner.  They also have the string that Bill Cosby talked about goes from one glove, up your sleeve, across your back and down the other sleeve to the other glove, so if someone grabs one glove and pulls it hard, you hit yourself in the face with the other hand.  Personally, I'm from Georgia so I didn't grow up with gloves with strings on them, but I did survive several Hohenfels rotations and Reforgers with these mittens and they will flat keep you warm.   These are brand new, never issued and at a great price.
