Our M42 Jump Uniforms are the best on the market today! These are the correct unlined, lightweight cotton jacket made in wind and water-resistant cotton. Made with standard four bellowed pockets covered with angled pocket flaps; each with double snaps. The knife pocket has the correct zipper on each side, and yes, the zipper is a correct American zipper, not the European/Chinese left side one.
This jacket has the belt in the correct length so you don't have to cut it down with solid metal buckle. It also features the correct bi-swing back and armpit vents. Internal seams are covered with cloth tape and sewn just like the originals.
Once they started using the new jump uniforms they realized that they
needed some reinforcing. Prior to the Normandy jump, the paratroopers
turned in one of their two jump uniforms to be reinforced. Some of them
got them back in time for the jump and some of them didn't. Our
reinforcements are sewn in the correct colors and weight of cloth.
