This is high quality reproduction of the 1943 16in. M1 Garand bayonet with Scabbard.  The bayonet has a blued blade made from high quality carbon blued steel, heat treated to 48-53 RC hardness.  The blade is marked OL US 1943 with the bursting bomb. The handle is made with embossed plastic plates.  The included 16in. O.D. hard plastic sheath has a metal top and belt hanger with the U.S. and bursting bomb markings.  The bayonet is 21 3/4 inches overall.
