Description        We found a great source for dummy pineapple grenades.  Actually the M21 practice grenade, this is pretty close to the WWII Mk II grenade.  Fortunately, the differences are relatively minor.  Unlike the ones you pay $20 for at the Army Navy Store, we've plugged the hole in the bottom and painted them.      During WWII the yellow color indicated High Explosive and so, naturally, grenades were painted yellow.  How'd you like that hanging off your gear?  So in 1943 they began painting them green.  Normally the old, repainted grenades did not have the yellow band.  The newly produced ones were green with the yellow band.     There seems to be an interest in the early grenades so now we have a choice.  Please select whether you want your grenades yellow or OD with the yellow stripe.
