Description   These are excellent reproductions of the roughout service shoe used in WWII.  These were worn with canvas leggings in combat and were also worn without them for non-combat duties.  These are made just like the originals with full-grain leather uppers, a comfortable leather footbed, sure-grip rubber outsole and a repairable Goodyear welt for stability and long lasting wear.   You won't be disappointed with these boots! Roughout boots January 8, 2011 Reviewer: OLIVER "Terry" PRATT from EASTPORT, ME United States   I was a little unsure about ordering these as I have a wide foot. I emailed Eric with my concerns and he took some measurements and compared them with boots of known widths, giving me enough info to make the decision to give them a try. I can state with confidence that the size 11 roughouts will fit a 10.5 wide foot comfortably. With an arch support and padded sole socks, they fit like they were made for me. Now to dub them.
